Luiss University is pleased to invite faculty members from ENGAGE.EU partner universities to apply for teaching roles in the upcoming ENGAGE.EU Summer School in Data Science, taking place in Rome in July 2026. This two-week, in-person programme is designed for bachelor’s students from all academic backgrounds who are eager to explore the transformative potential of data science, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies.
About the Summer School
The ENGAGE.EU Summer School offers a unique educational experience that blends academic excellence with practical engagement. Students will participate in interactive lessons, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects that deepen their understanding of data analysis and its role in shaping strategic decision-making, organizational processes, and digital ecosystems.

The programme aims to equip students with both hard and soft skills to tackle societal challenges and become responsible future leaders in data-rich environments.
Teaching Opportunities
Faculty members from any department or school within the ENGAGE.EU alliance are encouraged to submit proposals for teaching sessions. Teaching commitments can span one, two, or three days, and should focus on the core themes listed above. We welcome interdisciplinary approaches and encourage the inclusion of external organizations to provide real-world insights and enrich the learning experience.
Workshops should be designed to be interactive, engaging students in discussion, experimentation, and collaborative learning.
Application Process
Interested faculty members should submit the following documents by 19 October 2025 to engage.eu@luiss.it:
- Curriculum vitae, including research activities
- A brief description (approx. 1 page) of the proposed contribution to the programme
- Information on availability during the two-week programme
Expectations for Selected Lecturers
- Deliver the course based on the agreed outline, in collaboration with Luiss faculty
- Prepare course materials and conduct student assessments
- Submit grades and required documentation by the specified deadlines
- Provide Luiss with necessary information for programme communication
