Dear colleagues,
I am writing to invite partner institutions to join a joint research initiative under the ENGAGE.EU Research Label 2025 programme.
The initiative is entitled YOUNG.OS - Young Researchers for Open Science.
Our aim is to explore how members of the young academic community, in particular PhD students and early career researchers, perceive and implement the principles of open science.
The project focuses on collecting empirical data through structured surveys, assessing attitudes, awareness and good practices related to open access, data sharing, research transparency and the use of open scientific resources. Special attention is paid to individual motivations, challenges and concerns about intellectual property in the context of open science.
This initiative is not only in line with ENGAGE.EU’s strategic vision for responsible, socially engaged research, but also directly contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially those related to quality education, innovation and open institutions.
The project envisages a scientific publication in an indexed open access journal. If you are interested in joining this initiative, please contact me.
