1st SCM @ ENGAGE.EU Research Workshop on Sustainability
We are delighted to officially invite you to our workshop, which will take place at the University of Mannheim from July 10th (9:00) to July 11th (approx. 14:30), 2025.
The thematic focus of the workshop will be on the multidimensionality of sustainability. We aim to explore and discuss the various perspectives and approaches on how sustainability challenges are addressed within our Supply Chain Community, shedding light on the many facets of sustainability. Through discussions and workshop sessions, we hope to identify new research questions, solution approaches, and opportunities for future collaboration within the ENGAGE.EU (supply chain) community.
The workshop will also provide a platform for early-stage researchers to present their current projects, engage in discussions, and receive valuable feedback from peers and senior researchers from within the ENGAGE.EU community.
In the following, we summarized the key dates of the workshop:
· Registration and abstract submission deadline: April 6th, 2025 (End of Day)
· Notification of abstract and participation acceptance: by April 13th, 2025 (End of Day)

The workshop in collaboration with ENGAGE.EU is funded by the University of Mannheim. We are able to cover the costs of the workshop for all speakers and participants, so that no workshop fee will be charged. Additionally, we will cover accommodation expenses for workshop participants from Wednesday to Friday (two nights).
Early-career researchers who do not have access to funding for travel expenses may contact the organizing committee to receive partial financial support for their travel costs.
