The Digital Legal Lab will host the fifth edition of its annual conference Digital Legal Talks on 28 and 29 November in Utrecht! It will be a fully in-person event. Accepted submissions in response to this call for papers will be scheduled for 28 November, and plenary sessions with invited speakers will be held on 29 November.

Theme of the conference

The topic of this year’s edition of Digital Legal Talks is again dedicated to law and digital technologies. In the context of this general theme, researchers are welcome to address various aspects that correspond to the main lines of research of the Digital Legal Lab.

Submission guidelines 

Bringing together scholars of different disciplines covering digit(al)isation of society, we invite both junior and senior researchers to submit published or unpublished papers to present and discuss at the conference. You are also welcome to submit a panel proposal.

Please submit an extended abstract of your contribution of 1500 words max. to Oxford Abstracts: https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/5833/submitter Please indicate to which of the abovementioned lines of research your submission relates and whether you wish to present it as a paper, or in a PLSC-style paper discussion, or whether it is a proposal for a panel. There are no specific guidelines as regards formatting or referencing style. 

The deadline for submissions is 15 September and the authors can expect notification of acceptance by 4 October.
