The EURO HOpe Working Group on Humanitarian Operations and Zero Hunger Lab are pleased to announce the 10th EURO HOpe mini conference, which will be held in person on 15 and 16 October 2026 in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
EURO HOpe (European Humanitarian Operations Research for People and the Environment) brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers who are committed to improving humanitarian response and long-term resilience through rigorous analytics and real-world collaboration. The conference is known for its unique blend of state-of-the-art academic research, practical field expertise, and co-creation of solutions that make a tangible difference for people facing crises.
The 2026 edition in Tilburg will emphasize two-way learning between academics and practitioners working in humanitarian aid, development, and crisis management.
- Day 1 will focus on academic insights, early-stage research, and methodological advances in humanitarian and operations research.
- Day 2 will shift toward practice: co-creation sessions with NGOs, UN agencies, and government partners, aiming to translate research into impactful, applicable solutions.
