Fostering Transparency and Reproducibility in Social Science Research: Addressing Challenges in Management Studies

Transparency and reproducibility are cornerstones of robust scientific inquiry, yet they remain challenging to achieve in the social sciences, particularly in the new AI era. This talk will explore the critical issues undermining these principles, including publication biases, selective reporting, opaque methodologies, and the replication crisis. Emphasizing the unique complexities of social sciences, we will discuss practical strategies to enhance research integrity, such as pre registration, open data and code sharing, and collaboration across disciplines. By addressing these challenges, we can strengthen the credibility of social sciences  and ensure it continues to contribute meaningfully to theory and practice in an era of increasing scrutiny.
