Research Culture Regarding Ethics

Building an ethical research culture is one of the most effective ways to promote integrity and responsible conduct in academia. This webinar will explore the key challenges in research ethics and provide practical strategies, ideas, and best practices for fostering a strong ethical culture within departments and research teams at universities. Participants will gain actionable insights to support ethical decision-making and enhance the integrity of their research environments.

About the Presenter

Prof. Dr. Nikolay Dentchev is a full professor of social entrepreneurship at the University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria) and a part-time faculty member at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). His research focuses on social entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, ESG and entrepreneurial ecosystems, with over 50 international publications in leading journals including Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Cleaner Production. He has also held academic positions at Ghent University and KU Leuven and served as a visiting scholar at institutions across Europe. Prof. Dentchev is passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship, and he actively explores ways to foster ethical and socially responsible practices in academia and business.
