Agnes Bamford is a Lecturer at the Department of Professional and Intercultural Communication at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
Bamford’s lecturing includes intercultural communication and diversity management at bachelor and master level. She teaches the following courses at NHH: Working across cultures, English for business, the Internship Abroad Master Course, Internship in South Africa and the Innovation School.
In the spring semester of 2025 she will teach the online Engage course, Developing a Global Mindset (IDV 402) at the University of Mannheim.
Her research interests include intercultural communication, discourse analysis, equality, diversity and inclusion. Bamford’s area of research is corporate communication and implementation of diversity management in multinational corporations, specifically global corporate parental leave policies.
Bamford has 20 years of international business experience, which includes working in financial services in London for Bloomberg LP, being a board member for the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce for seven years and running an intercultural business consultancy across Europe Middle East and Africa.
She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of London (2018), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from University College London and she is also a graduate (siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics
