Andreu Torner Jolonch is a PhD candidate in International Relations at Blanquerna–Universitat Ramon Llull and a research associate with the EIDOS group and the Observatori del Populisme (ICPS). His research focuses on far-right political parties in the European Union, analysing their historical evolution, ideological transformations, and strategic use of the European Parliament to mobilise narratives of identity, sovereignty, and inequality. Combining discursive, institutional, and comparative approaches, he examines how these actors challenge democratic norms and reshape the EU’s political field. He has conducted research stays at CEVIPOF–Sciences Po and contributes to the EPANS consortium, where he analyses the evolution of Euroscepticism in Western Europe.
