Since 2002 Edeltraud Hanappi-Egger is Professor for Gender and Diversity in Organisations at WU Vienna. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and a honorary doctorate of Louvain University.
She has been visiting professor at several international universities. From 2015-2023 she was President/Rector of WU Vienna, as first female in WU's history.
Since 2022 she is volunteering as Vice-President of SC Rapid, Austria's largest soccer club and serves as member of advisory boards of numerous universities and as member of EQUIS-accrediation teams.
