Gisle Andersen is Professor of English linguistics at NHH Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway, where he teaches Communication and Technology, Strategic and Political Communication and English for Business Communication.
His research focuses on different aspects of corpus linguistics and pragmatics, and he has worked extensively on the development of corpora and other language resources. He has coordinated and participated in projects within language technology and language resources and is in charge of the development of a NHH’s Terminology Base for Economic-Administrative Domains. His research covers areas such as language contact and borrowing, neologisms and term formation.
