My PhD project focuses on socio-digital inequity by bringing together academic and experiential knowledge. Accounting for wider power structures and the affordances of technologies, I ask how people with marginalized identities experience socio-digital inequality and social (co-)inclusion; not by focusing on a so-called “damage-centered framework” that revolves around people’s ‘pain’ but rather by accounting for the complexities and multiplicity of people’s identities and lives (Tuck, 2009, p. 413).  I do so by exploring resistance in this context, learning from how people imagine and work towards socio-digital justice.
