Mirko Crulli is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Political Science of LUISS University, where he also serves as adjunct professor of the Methods of Social Research and Political Science courses (BA). He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Pisa and was a visiting postgraduate research student at the Department of Politics, University of Surrey. His main research interests are cleavage politics, electoral behaviour and public opinion, populism and radical right politics (on both supply- and demand-sides), political geography. His works on these topics have appeared in national and international scientific journals, including Journal of European Public Policy, West European Politics, and Comparative European Politics. He is member of the Italian Centre for Electoral Studies (CISE), the Italian Political Science Association (SISP), and the Italian Society for Electoral Studies (SISE). In 2021, he was awarded the “Celso Ghini” prize for the best master’s degree thesis in the field of electoral studies by SISE.
