I focus my research on artificial intelligence and reinforcement learning from an economics perspectve. I am academic director of the German Business Panel, a large-scale survey of firms and look for new applications of AI in surveys. I teach a course on reinforcement learning as part of Berd Academy. I am also interested in experimental methods, their application, and analysis. In addition, I study the consequences of AI and AI regulation for labor markets and the economy.
