We implemented single sign on functionalities for OrcID or LinkedIn. This makes it easier for you to register or login to the platform. You can only use these, when the account is linked to your work-account, i.e. an e-mail extension of your university. In that way, you're automatically recognized as belonging to one of the ENGAGE.EU partners.
If you use another account, you can still enter registration, but your account needs approval from the community manager. You will receive an e-mail explaining why this approval needs to be done, and you can answer to that e-mail in order to explain why you'd want to use another account for your platform profile. Usually, this is fine, and you will be given access with your external account, as long as you provide profile information about where you work. We hope that we can give you a secure but easy way to enter the platform, whilst keeping the community safe. The community manager also does manual administrative checks in the OrcID registry, if there's a match with a partner university, your account will also be approved. Please note that you still have to complete your profile by clicking on the link in the e-mail.
We implemented a Single Sign On (SSO) option for Tilburg University members. This helps them to register and logging in without the use of an extra password, and provides extra security. Tilburg University members can also still use the other registration option, but might be redirected via the SURF page when they're connected to the University VPN. Sometimes, it occurs that people get a 'blank' screen after using Surfconext. In that case, simply refresh and you will get to the page to complete your profile. You can also try to empty your cache by pressing F5 and the refresh button simultaneously.
If you experience any problems with using the SSO, please contact the community manager.
An account is automatically locked after 5 unsuccessful login attempts. Use the "Forgot Password?" link to unlock it.
Click on the "Forgot Password?" link to reactivate it.
Please check that the email address you have provided is correct, then check that the email is not in your Spam Folder. If you still cannot find the email please try registering again before contacting the community manager
If you are getting a message that your email address is already in use, it means that you already have an ENGAGE.EU account and should not register again. Use the 'I forgot my password' link to retrieve your password and login in your existing account.
Go to the registration form or look here for a step by step description.
