The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) was established in 1936 and is located in the coastal city of Bergen. NHH is, together with the Centre for Applied Research, Norway’s most important centre for research and education in economics and business administration. NHH has an extensive international network and research and education partnerships with leading institutions abroad. Approximately half of NHH’s 3 500 students spend at least one semester abroad. As a leading Norwegian business school, NHH has an EQUIS accreditation (European Quality Improvement System), and is a member of CEMS – the Global Alliance in Management Education. NHH aims to be a driving force for development in business and society, and to educate people for the purposes of value creation and sustainable development.
