Head of the Rector’s Office and Institutional Relations director

PhD in Telecommunications from the Politechnical University of Catalonia (UPC), and with more than eleven years of solid experience in higher education leadership, research and innovation management, technology transfer, institutional affairs and corporate communication.

In 2010 I had been appointed director of the Ramon Llull University Research and Innovation Office where I led a team of highly qualified technicians who support the University's more than 50 research groups both in obtaining and managing projects of research, as with regard to the accreditations of the research staff. From this period, I would like to highlight my involvement in defining the strategic research plan for the Aristos Campus Mundus project, a strategic alliance of three Spanish universities that obtained the International Campus of Excellence (CEI) seal from the Ministry of Education. Likewise, from the office we organized and consolidated several activities to disseminate research and to promote scientific vocations.

Since 2012 I am the Head of the Rector’s Office and Institutional Relations Director of URL. Among all my tasks, I would like to emphasize that I plan and coordinate the transversal tasks of the management team of the University. Under my responsibility is the direction and monitoring of some of the University strategic projects. 

I have a global view of higher education and research environments, both in the national and international context. I am used to work in international environments. 
Strong experience in building links, connections and synergies with stakeholders. 
I represent my institution in front of public and private organizations at the local, state and international levels.
In 2015 I took an ESADE Executive Program about Social and Ethical Leadership. In 2016 I received a grant to participate in program W30 Program - Developing women leaders in University Faculty and Administration organized by Banco Santander and taught by UCLA.

I am engaged in promoting responsible leadership in organizations by guaranteeing respect for values and ethical behavior.
