I am a researcher at the Leibniz Institute for the German Language in Mannheim. I work in the area of gender and language, mostly using quantitative corpus linguistic approaches to assess the interaction between these two areas. The main focus of our project is to identify the various forms of person reference in written texts, but also to investigate new forms of gender-inclusive language and to mediate our results and insights to the public.
