I am an Associate Professor in the Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence department at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. From September 2020 to December 2023 I was the Program Director of the Data Science and Society Masters Program.

My research focuses on using machine learning and statistical models to predict and understand health, well-being, and learning. Recently I've worked on projects that study how phone use and well-being are related (machine learning), and how visual imagery might be a target for interventions to help people with bipolar disorder (statistical modeling).

I teach programming in python, machine learning, and supervise Data Science Master's students thesis projects.
