Elena Simeonova is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, UNWE.

Holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Relations (1995); Master’s degree in Finance (2009) and PhD in Political Science (2007) received with a dissertation on the subject “Models and Typologies of Internal Political Crises: based on the example of Bulgarian Transition”. 

Teaches Bachelor’s courses in Methodology of Political Analysis; Political Risk Analysis; Public Policies Assessment and Master’s courses in Political and Business Analysis and Global Political Risks.

Research interests: political methodology (research methods; formal ant theoretical modeling; measurement, scaling and calibration; elaboration of indexes); political risk analysis; public policies assessment; internal political crises.

Holds the following management positions

Vice-Dean in Academic Affairs at the Faculty of International Economics and Politics and 

Secretary General for Accreditation at UNWE
