Dr. Joan-Andreu Rocha Scarpetta has a PhD in Intercultural Communication (Barcelona), a Masters in Islamic Studies (Rome) and a Graduate Diploma in History. His areas of expertise are intercultural communication, cultural geopolitics and international cooperation. He is fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Catalan. He is now the Dean of the Faculty of Social Education and Social Work Pere Tarres of the Ramon Llull University of Barcelona.
