Dr. Rosa Ma Alsina-Pagès is nowadays Director of Research and Innovation of La Salle Campus Barcelona. The executive area she leads has the vocation of improving the research and the technology transfer and the innovation of the university adding the value of rea-world challenges and knowledge to teaching students. The area she leads is structured into two AGAUR-seal funded research groups (Human Environment Research and Smart Society), and la Salle R&D as ACCIÓ-TECNIO technology transfer center, Innova Institute and Càtedra Barcelona, and Technova Barcelona. 

Dr. Alsina-Pagès is an Engineer in Electronics and Telecommunications (2002-2004) from La Salle-URL, Graduate in Humanities from UOC (2012), Master in Projecte Management (MPM) from La Salle-URL (2003). She is a Doctor in ICT and its management by URL with Cum Laude, in 2012. She conducts research on acoustic event detecion and the impact of sound on people and animals.
