My current research focuses on the family dynamics involved in the changing process from preclinical dementia to Mild Cognitive Impairment and progression from dementia diagnosis to end of life. Some of my publications have appeared in high-impact journals including Nature and Brain. I have more than 20 years’ experience in both fundamental and applied research on memory, neurophysiology, emotional (dys)regulation and behaviour in older people with and without dementia.
