Midpoint Brabant: creators of tomorrow’s society

Midpoint Brabant is the regional economic cooperation collaboration of Mid Brabant, one of the four subregions of the Dutch province of Brabant. We act as a linking pin between companies, educational institutions, governments and civil society organizations. We help to develop new ideas and bring them to the market at an accelerated pace. Our innovations make the regional economy smarter and stronger. They contribute to a future-proof society. Mid Brabant is a region with a high knowledge level in human behaviour.

The spearheads of our regional economic development program are the societal tasks sustainability, digitization, human capital and health; and the sectors smart industry, logistics and leisure.

Midpoint Brabant is pleased to be an associated partner of the ambitious ENGAGE.EU, with Tilburg University as one of its members. ENGAGE.EU will provide an academic perspective on our programmes. The involvement of academics and students brings in new ideas. The interaction and co-creation with enterprises stimulates innovation and contributes to the circular economy within and outside our region. This will have a positive effect on employment and the development of talent.

The opportunity to reflect, share and learn about optimizing the collaboration between university, industry, government and public environment further strengthens our regional economic development program with high impact on society.
