Silvia Dello Russo, PhD in Organizational Psychology, is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at Luiss University since 2022. Previously she held academic positions in Lisbon (Portugal) and Toulouse (France) and has been visiting scholar for research and/or teaching activities at Universities in Italy (Bologna, Padova), Austria (WU Vienna), UK (Aston Business School) and Canada (Rotman School of Management).

At Luiss, Silvia Dello Russo teaches Organization and Cross-Cultural Management, and she has also an expertise in teaching Strategic and International Human Resource Management.

She is the Co-Director of the Master Program in Global Management and Politics, and Advisor to the Rector for Personal Flourishing – a role in which she oversees the planning and the integration of extra-curricular activities aimed at strengthening students’ psychological skills and resources.

Her role as advisor is also in line with her research expertise. Besides studying work motivation along the life span and the quality of relationships between managers and collaborators, she conducts research on HR practices for individual development, particularly feedback, performance management, coaching, and career management. She regularly presents her work at international conferences and publishes academic production in top journals.

Silvia is deeply engaged with the international research community: she is member of a large cross-cultural collaboration for the study of careers (www.5C.careers), ambassador for a new methodological approach (Necessary Condition Analysis) and holds coordination responsibilities in academic associations – co-chair of the Human Resource Management track of EURAM (since 2021) and Representative at Large of the Career Division of the Academy of Management (2020-2023).
