Ben is a PhD researcher at Tilburg Law School, specialised in business and human rights. Ben is currently carrying out participatory research on the effects of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights' endorsement of operational-level, non-judicial grievance mechanisms and their role in access to remedy. His focus is on their role relative to the wider system of remedy available to complainants, in order to inform current scholarship with empirical research. He does his research under the supervision of Professor Nicola Jägers and Dr. Phillip Paiement.
